An arrest warrant for Trejean Derrell Curry was just issued on March 17, 2022, and he made his first court appearance Wednesday, with bail set at $200,000 without conditions. His next court date is April 14 in Hastings.

A Cottage Grove man pleaded guilty Tuesday in connection to a metro bank robbery spree spanning three different locations. Michael Thomas Prall, 43, is accused of using force, violence and intimidation to steal thousands of dollars from three separate banks in Nov. 2021.

An Andover man was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison for killing a 19-year-old outside a Coon Rapids grocery store in November 2020. Vaughn Jarod Coklas, 20, was convicted of 2nd-degree murder for killing Staveonte El Brown and received a sentence of 216 months in prison with credit for 477 days already served.
