Firefighters arrived and found half of a structure fully-involved and threatening other nearby structures. Rochester Fire Crews Extinguish Afternoon House Fire
Shortly before 3 p.m on Saturday, crews were dispatched to the 1600 block of 2nd Avenue Northeast in Rochester for a report of flames in the upstairs bedroom of a residence. Initial arriving crews reported they had fire showing from the back of the house, and heavy smoke showing from the roof.

Shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Rochester Fire units were alerted to a fire alarm at the Woodridge Apartments located at 2804 2nd St SW. Initial arriving units noticed smoke coming from the building, with many residents evacuating.
