Driver Kills Five and Flees in South Minneapolis

Officials have confirmed that five people were killed in a crash Friday night near Lake St. and I-35W after a driver at a high rate of speed t-boned a vehicle at the intersection and fled on foot. Four adult female victims and one juvenile female victim inside the t-boned vehicle died at the scene, police say. An adult male suspect who is believed to have caused the crash was apprehended a short time later.

A body has been recovered during the search for Madeline Kingsbury this afternoon and her ex-boyfriend Adam Fravel has been arrested in connection with her disappearance. A man was fatally stabbed in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul late Saturday night, police have confirmed, and a possible suspect has been arrested. A 29-year-old Burnsville man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to 3rd-degree murder for providing a lethal dose of fentanyl that killed an Eagan teen in 2021. Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Fridley Shooting

According to a criminal complaint, officers were called to Unity Hospital for a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before 3:00 p.m. on May 22 and talked with the victim about the shooting. The victim told officers the shooting occurred on the 600 block of Osborne Road in Fridley at an apartment building and a man named “Johnny” was the one who shot him.
