Man Fatally Stabbed in Saint Paul; One in Custody

A man was fatally stabbed in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul late Saturday night, police have confirmed, and a possible suspect has been arrested. Around 10:30 p.m. June 3, officers were called to the 1000 block of Charles Ave. and found Juan Jose Jimenez-Alarcon, 30, in the home and with apparent stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

13-year-old Dies After Falling Off Bicycle in Farmington

Farmington police say a 13-year-old boy is dead after falling off his bicycle near the intersection of 224th Street West & Canova Court in Farmington last Saturday evening. Crews were called just after 8 p.m. to the accident. Upon arriving to the scene, first responders provided life-saving measures but Madden D. McKean was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Sentenced for Eagan Teen's Overdose Death

A 29-year-old Burnsville man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to 3rd-degree murder for providing a lethal dose of fentanyl that killed an Eagan teen in 2021. Jamal Ahmed Adan was sentenced to 60 months in prison on Thursday as part of a plea agreement where prosecutors also agreed to drop a felony drug charge.

Minneapolis police say a man was fatally struck by a Light Rail train at the Warehouse District station downtown around 1 a.m. Saturday after a "physical altercation" with another man on the platform. MSP Airport Police Arrest 2 with 50+ Pounds of Cocaine

Police say on May 16, Ladale Jajaun Solomon Jr., 29, had arrived on an inbound flight to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on a flight from Los Angeles and was scheduled to make a connecting flight to Cleveland, Ohio. He had checked a 59 pound suitcase on the flight, which a certified drug detection dog provided a positive alert to the odor of controlled substances.

Man Convicted of Murder in Eagan Fatal Shooting

According to the criminal complaint, Eagan police officers were dispatched to the Marathon gas station at 1969 Silver Bell Rd. just before 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 for reports of a man on the ground who was shot and possibly dead. At the same time, officers were notified of a crash about 100 yards from the gas station with someone running on foot from the area.

Man Charged After White Bear Lake Fire Injures 1

A man is charged with a felony after allegedly causing a fire at a White Bear Lake four-plex that critically injured a woman who was unable to escape the residence late Saturday night. 45-year-old Christian Thomas Dahm, of White Bear Lake, is charged with one felony count of negligent fires causing great bodily harm. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to five years in prison.
