Ex-Boyfriend Arrested After Maddi Kingsbury Found Dead
A body has been recovered during the search for Madeline Kingsbury this afternoon and her ex-boyfriend Adam Fravel has been arrested in connection with her disappearance. The body was found in a patch of brush off Hwy. 43 north of Mabel, Minn., on Wednesday afternoon, about 60 miles southeast of Rochester. Authorities are working to positively identify the remains.
Teen Robbery Suspects Crash into Bus Shelter During Minneapolis Pursuit
Six juveniles—believed to have carried out multiple armed robberies—were involved in a pursuit with officers in Minneapolis late Monday morning, eventually crashing into another driver and demolishing a bus shelter. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office says Violent Offender Task Force detectives were working on a joint operation with Minneapolis police, along with other agencies, in north Minneapolis just before noon on Monday, June 5.
Alcohol a Factor in Fatal South St. Paul Head-on Crash
One person died late Monday afternoon after a head-on crash in South St. Paul, with the woman who reportedly caused the crash suspected of being under the influence, authorities say. Around 3:20 p.m., SSP officers responded to a report a two-vehicle, head-on crash on Concord St. S. near Chestnut St. with multiple injuries.

Man Fatally Stabbed in Saint Paul; One in Custody
A man was fatally stabbed in the Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul late Saturday night, police have confirmed, and a possible suspect has been arrested. Around 10:30 p.m. June 3, officers were called to the 1000 block of Charles Ave. and found Juan Jose Jimenez-Alarcon, 30, in the home and with apparent stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
13-year-old Dies After Falling Off Bicycle in Farmington
Farmington police say a 13-year-old boy is dead after falling off his bicycle near the intersection of 224th Street West & Canova Court in Farmington last Saturday evening. Crews were called just after 8 p.m. to the accident. Upon arriving to the scene, first responders provided life-saving measures but Madden D. McKean was pronounced dead at the scene.
Missing Kayaker Found Dead in Saint Cloud
Stearns County authorities have confirmed that the body of a kayaker missing since Wednesday afternoon has been recovered from the Mississippi River in Saint Cloud. The body of Donald Richard Worden, 39, of Saint Cloud, was recovered around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, June 2.
2 Dead After Overnight Head-On Crash in Oakdale
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 2:24 a.m. Thursday after multiple 911 callers reported a Toyota Corolla traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-694 in Oakdale. MnDOT traffic cameras captured the wrong-way driver traveling southbound before crashing head-on into a Pontiac Vibe south of Stillwater Boulevard.

A 29-year-old Burnsville man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to 3rd-degree murder for providing a lethal dose of fentanyl that killed an Eagan teen in 2021. Jamal Ahmed Adan was sentenced to 60 months in prison on Thursday as part of a plea agreement where prosecutors also agreed to drop a felony drug charge.
Motorcyclist Dies in Anoka County After Hitting U-Haul
Emergency crews were called to the area of St. Francis Boulevard Northwest, just north of Alpine Drive around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Bystanders and first responders attempted life-saving measures, however he was pronounced deceased at the scene. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time.
Man Charged with Attempted Murder After Fridley Shooting
According to a criminal complaint, officers were called to Unity Hospital for a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before 3:00 p.m. on May 22 and talked with the victim about the shooting. The victim told officers the shooting occurred on the 600 block of Osborne Road in Fridley at an apartment building and a man named “Johnny” was the one who shot him.

Anoka Man Pleads Guilty in Cold-Case Murder of Infant Daughter
An Anoka man who admitted to killing his 3-month-old child more than 13 years ago has agreed to plead guilty to one count of 2nd-degree murder. 38-year-old Benjamin Alexander Russell agreed to the plea deal last week and is expected to be sentenced to more than 11 years in prison in July.
Stillwater Inmates Charged After Escape from Custody
Criminal complaints filed on Friday allege that inmates Timothy Curtis St. Clair Jr., 36, and Kristopher Lee Roybal, 40, walked away from the minimum-security housing area late Tuesday night. Minneapolis police say a man was fatally struck by a Light Rail train at the Warehouse District station downtown around 1 a.m. Saturday after a "physical altercation" with another man on the platform. The victim reportedly fell onto the tracks after the altercation on the platform near at 5th St. & 1st Ave., was struck by an oncoming train and was later pronounced dead.
MSP Airport Police Arrest 2 with 50+ Pounds of Cocaine
Police say on May 16, Ladale Jajaun Solomon Jr., 29, had arrived on an inbound flight to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on a flight from Los Angeles and was scheduled to make a connecting flight to Cleveland, Ohio. He had checked a 59 pound suitcase on the flight, which a certified drug detection dog provided a positive alert to the odor of controlled substances.
